 HOW THE COURSE IS ORGANIZED?

This PMP certification course tells the story of project management in a cohesive, concise, yet comprehensive fashion. This course is designed to the most current version of the PMP® and CAPM® exams based on the fourth edition of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) by PMI®. The discipline of project management, according to PMBOK®, contains nine knowledge areas, such as cost management and quality management, and five process groups: initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. The PMBOK® and almost all project management exam courses and books are organized along the knowledge areas. However, the exam objectives published by PMI® are organized in order of the process groups.

This poses a problem for the reader preparing for the exam based on exam objectives. This PMP certification course solves this problem by presenting the material in order of process groups: initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. This order of presentation is also consistent with the lifecycle of a project, and therefore facilitates natural learning by connecting to real-world experience. This PMP certification course covers the material for the following two exams: PMP® Exam-passing this exam is necessary to obtain PMP® certification & CAPM® Exam- passing this exam is necessary to obtain CAPM® certification.

PMP® Examination Changes on 31 August 2011: PMI conducts a role delineation study (RDS) for the Project Management Professional (PMP) ® credential every five to seven years to ensure that the credential reflects contemporary practice and evolves to meet current needs in the profession. The recent study reveals that that the professional and social responsibility area should be integrated into all of the work of project management. Hence, the Professional and Social Responsibility content area will now be tested in every domain, rather than as a separate domain. Our pmp certification course has been updated to align with PMI exam guidelines.
